We would love to share your Smiling Leash Moments!
We believe all dogs and their humans deserve to experience pleasant, relaxing Smiling Leash walks and all the benefits they provide. We wish to inspire and educate through as many different examples as possible. If you feel the same way, we need your help! We would love to publish your Smiling Leash videos and photos! We will publish them on our social media pages and sometimes also on this web site.

Here are the basic requirements for your submissions:
The video or photograph must contain one or more dogs on a loose (smiling) leash.
Dogs should wear a comfortable harness (H shape on top, Y shape in the front, clip at the back) and a long (3 m or more) classical leash.
In order to "smile", the leash needs to be long enough, not be pulled or dragged along the ground or otherwise manipulated. We would love to continue setting great examples of loose leash walking with your help, so we ask you to submit photos and videos with truly smiling leashes!
The video or photo must contain no elements of punishment or other unkind methods of handling or training.
The video or photo must contain no elements that might pose a risk to dogs' health and safety or cause discomfort to dogs.
The preferred format for videos is .mp4, but we also accept other formats.
Please try to film and take photos in landscape mode (holding the phone horizontally).
If you choose to add music, please make sure it is royalty-free and credit the author.
The videos can be up to 6 minutes long.
Hint: We find it is often best to film a person and dog by walking behind them. That way the cameraperson can be unobtrusive and still get a clear shot of the subjects.
Please submit your large files via a file sharing service (WeTransfer.com or similar) to bark@smilingleash.com. If you are sending us smaller files, you can also send them directly to the e-mail address. Thank you!
By submitting your content to bark@smilingleash.com, the Smiling Leash Facebook Page or Instagram profile, you agree to let the Smiling Leash Team store, publish and modify your content for the purpose of this project. You will be credited when possible and if you so wish - in that case, please let us know as you submit content. The Smiling Leash Team may choose to publish or not publish part or all of the submitted content at its own discretion.
